STAGE DRAMATURGICAL CRITICISM

Abstract
Dramaturgical stage criticism (Greek: Krino-judge; kritos-one who judges; judgment, assessment) is the art of judging and evaluating drama, based on known and consistent criteria. It is a complex form of assessment, which interweaves meaningful efforts that, in addition to observing, judging, evaluating and the importance of the dramaturgical work, include many determining elements of the entirety of the staged work.
This implies the important role of the director, his skill and ability in judging and evaluating the invention, with the interweaving, fusion and synthesis between the logos and the staged play. This includes the manner of acting and the ability of the actors according to the hierarchy, the functionalization of the stage, namely the mise-en-scène and other auxiliary means such as scenography, tonic effects (music), costume design, choreography, (speech on stage) actor's speech and the harmony of the ensemble.
